As you know or may have not know,Producer/Engineer, Robert "Void" has been working with the boys for over a year now. Pushplayfan.com has recently talked to Void about, whats it like working with the band and a short interview. "Void" was sweet and answered the following questions:

Christine: What’s it like working with Push Play?
Working with this band is great. They are all terrific people and dedicated to their music. We have had a lot of great experiences in the studio and on the road at shows so it’s been a lot of fun.

Christine: How long have you been working with Push Play?
I began working with Push Play in June of 2007, so it’s been nearly a year now.

Christine: What was it like producing and recording "Away, Away"?
First of all, “Away, Away” is a great song so from the start it was fantastic. We approached “Away, Away” from a very different perspective than “Deserted.” I am used to working in big, world-class studios with all the best gear and at the time, we weren’t really able to utilize that for “Deserted”, which was recorded in CJ’s studio in the basement of his house. As good as his studio is, it just isn’t up to the standards of the top places. So with “Away, Away” we knew we had to take the plunge and go to the next level. For me it was great to go back into a really great studio (Avatar in NYC) and get some really great tracks. We then recorded the overdubs at my favorite studio on Long Island called “Music Palace.” So for me it was cool to get back into some of my favorite rooms with a great band putting down some great tracks.


Christine: How is working with push play different from working with other artist?
Overall, it’s not too different. Since they are a bit younger than most artists I have worked with in the past they have less experience but certainly no less dedication and drive. As they grow and develop I look forward to working with them on new songs for a long time. We have all become friends so at times it’s hard to remember that we are working, we have that much fun. They have so much potential that it’s exciting to be a part of their world.
