Hop, hop, hop... please stop! Traditions abound, especially on holidays like Christmas and Easter. And although I was always fully intrigued by holiday traditions when I was 5, 10 and even 15 years old... for some reason at the ripe old age of 19 I don't necessarily like being dragged out of bed at 6am to do the traditional easter egg hunt in the backyard. As a kid it thrilled me to collect the most eggs thereby winning the biggest easter basket with the most jelly beans and the largest chocolate bunny rabbit. But being off chocolate since the age of acne, you can see my total trepidation about pouncing around the backyard to find hardboiled colored eggs. No longer is Uncle Johnny the great guy in the easter bunny outfit. NOW he's the robber of my much needed teen sleep.
